Introduction

This page is to set a standard for EVMS Medical Group and EVMS Campus location coordinates. As the Locations page for the EVMS Medical Group was built out, it was discovered that multiple markers were displaying for single location addresses because multiple coordinates were entered for those locations by multiple people over the years. Pinpointing a single location online is not the easiest thing to do, even less so if you're using different methods or websites to search for location coordinates.

The process for getting the following coordinates:

Cut and paste addresses from EVMS Medical Group locations page into Google Maps, remove the suite number
- Or, cut and paste the building name from the EVMS Medical Group locations page into Google Maps (Google sometimes recognizes addresses as belonging to a certain building)
Right click on map marker to get the coordinates and copy those

Coordinates tend to change if you move the pointer the slightest bit, so these are the coordinates aiming for the middle of the circle in the map markers on Google Maps.

Building names and areas are included in the table because it's more likely that people are going to remember building names rather than street addresses, especially on the EVMS campus.
