Nathan E. Michalak is director of EVMS Audiology. His clinical interests include: vestibular disorders and science, aural rehabilitation, evoked potential testing, translational research and student education.

He earned both his BA in Communicative Disorders and Sciences and his AuD. from University at Buffalo, then went on to complete his Clinical Externship at the Cleveland Clinic. Today, this expert holds Certified Clinical Competence in Audiology through American Speech Language Hearing Association and is a licensed Audiologist and Hearing Aid Specialist in the State of Virginia.
