Patrick F. Morgan, MD, FACS

His surgical practice includes transoral robotic surgery (TORS) for throat cancer, microvascular free-flap reconstruction to rebuild the jaw, tongue, and throat after cancer surgery, and minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery. He performs ultrasound and needle biopsy in the office so patients can often get answers in one visit.

Dr. Morgan serves the field on the local, regional and national level. Dr. Morgan is the physician lead for the implementation of ERAS - Head and Neck Surgery initiative at Sentara Norfolk General, helps lead the head and neck cancer screening program, and serves as Medical Director of the International Association of Laryngectomees.  He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
